A thong time ago, in a galaxxxy far, far away… Since 2018, The Bizarre Bazaar, Louisville’s femme circus and vaudeville collective, has celebrated Star Wars Day (and the days leading up to it) in the best way possible: Drag kings, queens and burlesque dancers to bring the canon to life. The show has expanded into a multi city, multi night regional tour, and features the finest, foulest, and funniest Nerdlesque performers of the Ohio Valley, all shaking their Sarlac pits. On Friday May 2, 2024, the eve of May the Fourth (be with you)/ Star Wars Day, get ready to go into hyperdrive as a bevy of the region’s nerdiest and dirtiest touch down in Southern Indiana and become your favorite Star Wars characters; from Han Job Solo to Chewbacca-that-ass-up, from Oola-la to Princess Lay-me to the bearly legal Ewok and Greedoh-oh-oh, the show is never the same twice. Come in your finest galactic cosplay for a chance to win during the costume contest.
